Martina (Tina) Rakovic
Registered Psychologist (Clinical Team Lead)
Tina is a compassionate registered psychologist with extensive experience in community mental health services, where she has had the privilege of supporting a diverse range of clients. Her background includes working with both adolescents and adults in primary care settings, not for profit organisations and the disability sector, where she has provided compassionate and effective care to individuals navigating a variety of psychological challenges. She has worked in various leadership positions providing support, supervision and clinical consultations to therapeutic and multi-disciplinary teams.
Throughout her career, she has focused on helping those who have experienced various forms of trauma and adversity, tailoring her approach to meet their unique needs. Her work spans across multiple areas, including addiction, mood, anxiety, psychotic and personality disorders, as well as supporting neurodivergent clients and those from the LGBTIQA+ community. She is also passionate about supporting victim survivors of family violence.
Her therapeutic practice incorporates a range of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Informed Care principles.
